Which “surprise songs” did Fenway get tonight?

 

Seeing them tomorrow in Hartford! Hopefully it'll be a better experience than last year at Adjacent Fest.

Tbh Obvious is my least favorite song on self-titled, and this tour is making me sick of it lmao. The fact that they rehearsed 40+ songs for this tour but are sticking to that one every night is bonkers to me.

 

Obvious is a good song. They should keep playing it.

 

Respectfully, that chorus is nails on a chalkboard to me, and has such a boring riff. I like it on the record, but it feels super out of place in a concert environment because there are so many more well-known songs they could play instead thay don't completely kill the momentum of the show.

Violence, Stockholm Syndrome, Reckless Abandon, Dumpweed, & Going Away To College are all crowd pleasers with great sing-along choruses and memorable riffs.

 

Fenway was incredible.

 

Tonight was a good time and very much needed.
I was in one of the second sections on the floor. About an hour into blinks set a couple showed up late behind me. The girlfriend kept counting down to the only song she wanted to hear, and they complained the rest of the time.
…she was waiting for the 30 seconds of There Is. Then they left.

So happy I went tonight. I love this band so much

 

Daughter had a blast and said that Tom and Mark were like a comedy show.

 

Incredible night last night. Perfect weather. Fenway had to have been sold out, place was absolutely packed. The best I ever heard them sound live for sure. Banter was top notch, Mark’s joke about Tom’s mom being a Boston Creame Pie and the Dunkin’ joke were hilarious.

I’m not a Down live fan but the crowd popped when they played it. The last 4 songs before OMT gave the crowd such a rush at the end of the set. Can’t wait to hear the studio version of Can’t Go Back. Surreal hearing WYHSB and There Is.

Great night all around. Happy I spend extra money to see them at Fenway.

 

Only thing that could make this any better is knowing that they bought their tickets at peak demand price

 

The band was great, but I had just been broken up with and was way in the back just bawling my eyes out on the beach lol.

 

Amazing night. Really can’t believe this era is happening.

 

Just an incredible night. Put me in the group who wept the second Anthem Part 3 started. I get chills just thinking about it - was the first song I played in the car driving my daughter home for the first time after she was born and now here I was hearing it at Fenway of all places.

My buddy also worked security and got me a pic and set list so life is good - let’s do it again tonight, Hartford! I’ll be in the lawn and tomorrow is def gonna be a sick day from work. Let’s goooo!

 

here i go again buying last minute tickets. i just can't help myself.

 

These are the types of people to yell "Freebird!" at a concert....but then turn out to be completely serious and get upset when it doesn't happen.

 

Someone on Reddit said Mark said on Discord blink is on at 9:30 tonight...trying to time it correctly so I miss PTV and don't miss any of blink and don't feel rushed.
