I would say First Date is their most overrated song. Then Dumpweed. Lol

 

I agree with First Date.

 

Most underrated have got to be Emo, Waggy, and Every Time I Look for You.

 

First Date needs to be eliminated from any set list.

 

It was real fun this summer actually, but seeing Matt do it once is enough for something better to take it's place IMO. It was nice to see it performed with some effort for once haha.

I liked the time though, when Tom started screaming during that song lol.

 

I would venture to say "is at". While there are definite highlights, the lows are embarrassing and the rest is mediocre. But I'm always getting the impression that it's supposed to be ~fun~ so people don't care too much and let it slide. It's just a little frustrating knowing they can do better now between Mark and Matt. Not saying Matt is infallible because I feel like his writing has been middling the past few years too but, knowing the potential is there makes me antsy.

 

I agree and will add Wasting Time to that list as well.

 

Anytime I hear "Mutt" I think about American Pie and high school life in the late 90's.

 

I was like 2 when that came out so I have no real nostalgia haha

 

I was only 8 or 9 when the movie came out but watching it 10x as a teen I always associated that time/feeling.

 

Mutt is my least favorite song on EOTS tbh

I feel lucky to have been 15 when that came out. dude ranch through toypaj all made sense for me as a teen. I never really wanted to get overly serious with myself emotionally speaking which is why untitled remains a swing and a miss even though I was like 17 when it came out.

 

All The Small Things is the worst song on EOTS.

Is the normal for them to play O2 just one night? I feel like I've heard a lot of big bands playing back to back at that arena

There's a two day gap between Bournemouth and London. If tickets sell out pretty quick, I can't see why they wouldn't add another date either before or after the current London date. I would love it if they dropped another Birmingham date in too.

 

I feel the same way! I really like the untitled album but the previous albums before, especially Dude Ranch, are the albums I connect with.

 

It's a huge venue. Only the biggest bands who would usually play stadiums ever announce more than one date there initially, most arena bands usually add a second if the first one sells quickly.

 

First Date can go kick rocks.
