great show from TNA filled w a lot of little production and presentation changes, first show since Hard to Kill that it felt like a different company than before the rebrand

 

seeing some folks say the elimination order in the main event was dumb. i don't think those matches work if you don't turn them on their head every so often. every elimination match has the champ say it's so risky and every elimination match has them make it til the end. def gave away Hendry wasn't winning but i think it gave the crowd time to get it back together to be happy for Ziggler

Despy is one of those rare cases of someone who looks even scarier without the mask on.

Very sad Big E got hurt. Say what you will. A decade!! of the same gimmick is a hell of an accomplishment. A couple of single titles in the mix, many tag titles, consistent merch sellers, various levels of popularity that range from super over to at worst indifference.

And all without a heel turn...and all without really giving Xavier woods a single run...both of which you can still do so.

I'll never forget when they debuted and me being ridiculously confused about what the hell this is haha

 

I love me some Lashley. But he’s almost 50 (dude does not age) and makes a fuck ton of money. They’ll probably let him walk

 

Solid run he had when he came back too. Nothing to be ashamed of, except the Lana angle

 

Lashley’s in that AJ Styles boat where he’s been around forever and already won everything so he’s better off as a part-timer. His US Title run was okay but they couldn’t find any good opponents for him & the run with the Street Profits got derailed by inconsistent booking.

 

MVP and Tamina have been removed from internal rosters too.

Forgot Tamina was even still there tbh.

 

Not surprised with how critical MVP was of booking recently.

 

I completely missed KUSHIDA pulling a Hakushi last night. So badass.

Seeing word about Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin heading to AEW to reform the Hurt Business.

But it's unclear if AEW's actually interested, or if these guys would just like to...

 

unfortunately AEW doesn't need any of those 3

like Lashley rules but come on

 

I like Lashley a lot, but, cant imagine anything AEW needs less than 3 50ish year old dudes forming a faction on a roster with like 20 other factions.

MVP managing someone they want to get over though is something that would intrigue me. Similar to how they use Callis/Stokely/etc

edit: Forgot that MVP KO'd Jericho a couple years back, so even that might not work

 

I don't see those 3 doing much there. Lashley was best in TNA

Shelton is 49
Lashley is 48


I do not see the appeal bringing them all in anywhere for a faction. You can probably get a few good years out of Lashley being great still at least.
