I’m on episode 3 and it is very good

 

We started defending Jacob because we are enjoying presumed innocent so much and it’s no where near as good.

Well there goes my theory god I can’t wait til Wednesday

 

I can see some of this but I think some of it is a stretch with her planting the poker and saying go fuck yourself being wildly out of character from what we know about her. not to mention during the trial it was noted how methodically the evidence was covered up I don’t think she’d be able to pull it off and completely evade being a suspect. I almost think it’s more likely Tommy is the killer and disposed of the murder weapon but someone found it and put the note on, maybe in his apartment when they broke in? or they acquired it and brought it back to him? question is who would do THAT, the father of the son? the son? I’m not so sure. I think it’s more likely the killer is someone out of left field (Barbara is pretty left field but it just doesn’t fit for me)/hasn’t been introduced yet/we’ll never know regardless and they just want us to worry about the verdict. however to that last point quite frankly I would be very disappointed if we don’t even get an inkling of who actually did it after most of the season was focused on Rusty finding the actual killer and only the last couple episodes were trial based. regardless I haven’t been this excited about a current show in ages, probably since the mole on Netflix

 

The director saying the case gets fully resolved and it’s a satisfying ending makes me think we’ll get all the answers. Plus, there was never an intent for a season 2 originally so my guess is they wrote this to completion.

 

It better be at least an hour long

 

i'd imagine this becomes an anthology show

 

Wait @ncarrab i think you’re onto something I just saw someone on a different website pin it on Barbara AND son which would explain why the son was seen riding by, why she was scrubbing the bike, why he wanted to talk to her about it and not rusty, and why they both hesitated and looked at each other when rusty asked why the bike is in the trash. also maybe why he wants him to take the plea initially to be done with the whole thing? however aren’t there scenes of him sincerely asking Barbara if she thinks rusty could’ve done it? or was that only the daughter? I don’t think the daughter had anything to do with it. but the thing about the bike in the trash has me asking a lot of questions now
