saw Hootie & The Blowfish the other night. 8 of their 20 song setlist were cover songs, ugh

 

More importantly, how did they totally diss Fairwhether Johnson in the setlist?

agreed. i'd rather hear those songs & singles than cover songs or Darius Rucker's solo music

 

To be fair, their cover of Interstate Love Song is iconic. That's so sick that they're keeping it as a staple in the setlist.
As expected the non-covers are heavy in Cracked Rear View songs, but really happy to see my favorite Hootie song I Will Wait in the sets too. Damn I may have to make the trip to the Jones Beach show.

Whoever booked Cupcakke in Detroit the same night as Charli XCX deserves some jail time

 

Is that Charli XCX tour still struggling outside of NYC and LA?
