SAME. Hired a guy who I've known for a lot of years. He's been working with some of the big franchises in town for long stints (like 6+yrs) and I was so excited he wanted to come work for us. Offered him competitive pay and got the rest of the crew excited to have another good helper...Then the guy shows up. Has virtually no tools. Can't diagnose the simplest things. Asks questions that are things a newcomer to the industry would ask. I'm confused how the big repair centers are employing these guys. He managed a store here for one and moved to California to manage another. He is as capable as the kid who has been doing this for two years and makes half the money.

Don’t eat Taco Bell and McDonalds in the same day.

I know you’re out promoting your show at open mic, and don’t have time or money to really think about food. And you just wanna stuff something in your face, so you can stay on the move and be on time to buses, to avoid costing yourself EVEN MORE on Uber

but think about the next day, when you need to play a show but you can’t leave on time for pre-show practice cause you keep having to fucking poop!!!

consider prepping dinner before you go and cooking when you get home, or packing a portable meal, you are 34 and cannot handle eating this much fast food anymore.
