Idk if this is for this or the racism thread but I feel cautious of dating white ppl which seems ridic since I'm the palest most white passing person to exist. my last real relationship was weird. he thought he was more liberal or open-minded for dating me even tho I'm like the whitest you can go while still dating someone mixed. so I was like a way to say he wasn't racist without him having to actually date someone darker skinned. but he'd also get bummed I didn't have an accent (why would I have an accent??) and didn't speak Spanish fluently so I was like ~exotic enough to make him not racist, but not enough at the same time? it was weird. it's made me skeptical and non trusting of white guys. he's the one who'd introduce me as his Little Latina too, vom. but like everyone around me is white so I should probably get over it cause those are like all my options idk.
