I mean, in the grand scheme of athletes, absolutely; in the context of the 100 greatest athletic achievements of the 2000s, I think it’s pretty generous to call him a top 25 player of his sport over that era, and that sort of ranking puts him easily top 15

 

Kawhi won 2 championships in 1/5 of the tries compared to Rodgers. And going to Toronto and winning them a championship right away is legendary stuff. Rodgers has nothing close to that on his resume. I have him above Rodgers too.

 

Idk, it’s absolutely wild to me that a 2-1 ring count would outweigh a 4-0 MVP count and that that’s seemingly a consensus opinion here, but to each their own
