Reddit is taking down posts about the shooter’s identity apparently so we might have to take all this with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed officially.

Almost got into a fight at a DOLLYROTS concert. The lead singer, Kelly, was emotionally distraught and disappointed (about the world today politcally) and was going into a political rant about how "we need to be nicer to each other and more understanding" (very very basic shit, but a lot of "fuck Trump" undertones, but she refrained and went veryyyyyy basic with it)

Sure enough there was this asshole yelling "shut up play music", "boo", "next songgggg". Some dipshit who was there because it was a cheap concert on a Saturday night and didn't give a fuck about the music but got offended that this singer "got political" and ruined his time?

I snapped. I've seen the Dollyrots a bunch of times and they're very apolitical and they've never said anything beyond "hey (insert current city)" or "heres our next song...". I told the guy to shut up, be respectful, this is a semi "punk show" so don't be surprised to hear punk rhetoric and legit shes just saying the bare minimum and you can't handle it.

I started with a mild "shut up" and he kept going and I kinda went off on him. Saying "where do you think you are", "its her stage who are you to tell her to say what she wants", "she's not a jukebox", and obviously "get the fuck out" (at this point my wife started pulling me away)

Fuck you man. Seriously.

I really try to be cool headed with this shit, try and "hear both sides ", but fuck man. I can't go to a punk show and hear a band say "be nice to each other" without an asshole being offended (the same shitheads who claim to be about how cancel culture is the number 1 concern of the world)

Lost in all of this because it doesn’t really matter is my curiosity in what the crowd was screaming at while Trump was getting into the SUV. While that is happening there are a few people giving the finger and yelling fuck you in the direction of the camera which is not the direction the shots came from so it’s not like they were yelling at the shooter or in the direction of the shooter.
