Grabbed Female Trouble and Multiple Maniacs yesterday. Started watching the first installment of the Qatsi trilogy last night too, so I might grab that.

 

Blood Simple and Mean Streets are good picks.

 

Watched a bit of A Quiet Life from Jûzô Itami before bed last night. Been thinking about it all day. Will try to finish it tonight.

 

Criterion 24/7 was showing Paris Is Burning a couple days ago. a really intriguing watch that i'd been meaning to get around to (although i know it has its criticisms as well).

 

If you haven't seen Tampopo, make that a priority! One of my favorite movies, same director, and it's riotously funny and entertaining.

Gummo in 4K/HDR is not something I anticipated.

 

It will forever be a crime that Pink Flamingos never got a 4K release but Gummo did.

 

There's still time! They always do 4K remasters of films they've already released.

 

It’s a couple years old so I doubt it, I guess they realized there wasn’t much of a reason to put it out in 4K since it was shot on 16mm film so they just stuck with regular Blu Ray. Mind you though, the BD looks fantastic so it’s not all bad.

 

yeah the pink flamingos release looks incredible. excited to finally own gummo not as a tape or dvd!

 

picked up the watermelon woman, deep cover, werckmeister harmonies, and blast of silence at b&n last week. gonna make one more bigger haul on friday then call it good before the next sale

 

my partner's family gifted me a B&N gift card for my birthday... might have to grab something soon

I ordered a copy of Sound of Metal on 4K, might get a couple more before the sale ends

 

Got my copy of PERFECT DAYS 4K. Possibly my favorite movie of all time.

 

The Times Square collection on the Channel is excellent. I am finishing up Variety. Great time capsule into the era and a really brilliant film
