i think I only ever donated to Warren and Bernie haha. I never used to get texts until after they ended their campaigns in 2020, so I know they shared allll their lists with the dnc

actually now that I think about it I MIGHT have donated to Jon Ossoff or Warnock during the runoffs

 

Thankfully I get more emails than texts but I haven't gotten either haha, I don't think I've ever donated they just appear

 

Nobody asked me if I’d accept Kamala Harris as the nominee. Was donating to / buying a shirt from Bernie Sanders that one time not good enough to matter???

 

Random rant but I hate how smart airlines are with their dirty tricks. Last month the flight I was taking was delayed 4 hours so the airline gave me a $50 credit to use on a future flight. So I was like okay cool, the flight itself was only $68 roundtrip so that seems like very fair compensation.

Fast forward to now where I'm booking another flight thinking I'll be able to get $50 off with the credit, but of course, the fine print says that the credit cannot be applied to fees and taxes. And of course the flight I booked was $99 roundtrip BUT the breakdown showed airfare was $22, while the fees and taxes came out to $77. So I was only able to use $22 of the credit.

I never paid attention to it before since flight prices are always advertised with the taxes/fees included but is it really standard for the taxes and fees to be a significant majority of the flight cost? This was with Frontier btw

 

I saw this the other day…in a coffeee shop. How unfortunate. There are people that sit in Stabucks for hours to type and study.

 

ugh did that press conference really freeze the push for Biden to drop out. Haven’t really heard anything new yesterday

 

tbf Bernie was already saying he supported him so I don’t think this is a switch

 

yeah I know it’s not a switch but more an observation that the only piece I’ve seen from NYT today regarding this is in support of Biden

Hes counting on people understanding that you need congress too, and new elections generally come with new political capital to spend

 

It’s just eye rolling. Not doing anything on student debt for 4 years so he pivots to medical debt.

 

He had congress and new elections and couldn’t do anything on student debt

 

yeah because Joe Manchin wasn’t going to let it be an act of Congress so he tried it with executive order and got SCOTUS’d

 

Don’t worry random baddy senator of the moment will make sure we don’t get medical debt too. Sharpie.

 

You’ll never guess what people have to do to get better senators in there. It’s not very popular here though.
