I've never seen the film (will watch it after the season finale) but wondering if they're even going to reveal the killer or just give us the verdict to Rusty's trial.

I never read the book or saw the movie so I have no idea how that ends (please don't tell me), but feel like that theory is too obvious. I'd kind of be disappointed if that was the case.

Also, interesting to see there will now be a Season 2. So it's very possible this season ends with just the trial verdict then season 2 is finding the real killer? Or will Season 2 have a completely different cast/storyline?
