I’m sorry but the phrase “Try and come for my job" that is now being used by Swifties for everything is sooo cringe. Like Zach Bryan or Eminem or whoever releasing an album and it doing very well where it tops Taylor’s album is not someone “coming for Taylor’s job” lol, it’s just the music industry functioning normally

(It’s cringe in the way Swifties are using it, no comment on its use in the song)

 

These fans will not be normal when she finally is dethroned from #1

 

Swifties are going to grow up to be soccer mom Karens who lose their mind when someone won’t move out of the way to let their kid score a goal in a game.

 

I used to think Craig from Degrassi was so dreamy. All I have to contribute.

 

I feel like a huge chunk of new swifties are legit grown adult white women who make listening to Taylor Swift their entire personality. At least since folklore/evermore/eras.

 

For sure. The TikTok ring light Swifties spouting off theories into their tiny little microphones.

One positive about Tortured Poets dominance is that the chart is not flooded with around four Taylor albums in the top 20 seemingly every week.

And I really like Taylor. But die hard Swifties like any die hard fan base are just the worst.

There's basically a zero percent chance that the Eminem album doesn't break her streak. It's only non-zero because she might be sitting on the anthology vinyl.

Anyway my take on all the stuff with Taylor blocking people or whatever is I truly don’t care, by the time you’re in the top 10 on Billboard you are doing much better in life than I ever will so congrats to you but I’m not going to take up arms for you because you only got #2 next to the biggest superstar of the century

 

I know what Eminem is projected to do but that’s only from streaming services. As of now he doesn’t have cds or vinyl. Unless they were shipped secretly to stores and will go up on his website tomorrow night.

 

They were shipped out, some Walmarts got them early this week so we're probably going to see decent physical sales too

 

Based on how the lead single did, I don’t think it’s going to matter either way. He’s clearly an artist that can still draw a lot of streams, and I think Taylor’s going to need something more than CD variants 54-69 to beat him.
