I always loved this project. Those songs were so damn good but I only ever really heard super low-quality mp3s of most of them. It's cool to see how many of these songs got deconstructed for other parts of Yellowcard songs or just re-used completely.

I remember winning a trivia contest on AP back in the day, and one of the questions was in regards to which Big If songs made it on to WYTTSY. Still have that signed vinyl poster they sent as a prize.

Saw them in Camden tonight and had a hard time enjoying them because the dudes behind me felt the need to yell over the music to have a conversation throughout the entire set. Really bummed out about it but it just confirms that I never need to go to another seated Yellowcard concert again

 

Same exact thing happened at my show, and the guys were talking about how they were there exclusively for yellow card, and proceeded to only know Ocean Avenue, so they just screamed at each other over every other song

 

I don’t want to be hyperbolic or anything, but these types of concertgoers should be executed.

honestly even if they're just demos Big If might be my album of the year so far. cannot get enough of it. you will pry Always Almost and Bug Light from my cold dead hands

 

This changes every couple years, but WYTTSY may be my favorite Yellowcard album at this point. The Big If demos have a really similar vibe (which makes sense considering 3 of them made the album) so for me, having these available to listen anytime is a very welcome expansion of one of my favorite records

 

Man, they sounded great this past weekend at PNC. I think this is the best Ryan’s voice has ever sounded and the tightest the band has ever played together. I was so pumped up. He is hitting every note on these songs. Everybody I was with (some of which had never seen YC) was extremely impressed.

He also mentioned more news coming later this year…
