There are 5 open teams in the NFC that they could take and you could schedule with them.

 

It's because this is really about the website...

 

They are fans of teams that are taken by longtimers here unfortunately. I've tried to sell the other teams but they have no interest in them. I only have one friend who is an NFC guy (Cowboys), the rest of us are AFC (Jets, Pats, Browns, Raiders, Broncos and Steelers)

I've never understood that approach, while I like to play with my team, it's certainly not a deal breaker. I'd much rather join a league with 20 users already. Play with those teams for the rest of this madden and then they are thrown in pile like every one for a different team.

I've been trying to get them in since I joined, I'm a Jets fan and had no problem taking the Giants, but I guess they want to build up the teams they root for. If for some reason this league doesn't last at some point, you guys will be welcome for sure! Hopefully this league sticks around for years to come though!
