But seriously, I’ve been saying that I think they’re the best choice for both Avengers movies for awhile now. If they’re only getting one, then I’d honestly rather them do Secret Wars instead. But hopefully it’s both

Cool theory, but this would have caused the sacred timeline to become a branched reality, right?

 

Why are we certain that Kang would have ended up in the Sacred Timeline?

 

I mean the ten rings. If they fell into a timeline and were used to influence it, I think that would turn the timeline into a branched reality.

That means the sacred timeline has actually been a branched reality during the time that we’ve known it… or Kang knew his rings landed in that timeline, so that’s why it’s the ‘sacred timeline’ to him. He has to keep the timeline pure until he finds his rings.

 

Kang didn't make the Sacred Timeline though, He Who Remains did, so unless He Who Remains wants the rings for some reason, the Sacred Timeline is irrelevant to the rings.

It would be interesting if the rings were parts of the Engine and were transmitting a beacon so Kang could find them, but I just don't think it makes much sense based on what we know so far.

 

That’s right. I forgot about that. I definitely see Marvel wanting to connect the rings to Kang. Hopefully whatever they want ends up fitting with Destin’s vision.

I mean I do want this, but I also worry it would just turn into that one episode of Supernatural. It could even have Loki in it!

Would be cool if they have her transform the Ten Rings into the Five Weapons Society. With Lady Iron Fan being rumored to be introduced I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the direction they’re pivoting towards.
