I am dying laughing at a family with kids going to montauk for a relaxing Sunday and seeing Murph passed the fuck out on some rocks.

So, my move about a year ago, I paid by the hour (if they worked 9-1 it was less than 9-3, etc). Definitely built in a tip, I want to say I did ~$50/guy, but it might have been more because it was 100 degrees and absolutely brutal. Might have dropped them $200 for 3 guys?

They were also excellent and were doing a weird but easier move (packing up my house in their truck, moving it to my actual moving truck that would go cross country), but if they were going house to house in that kind of heat, I'd have tipped more.

edit: Also, have a cooler with a bunch of ice and waters and lemonade and stuff; even though you arent physically doing the move, your house door is open and the temp will go up a LOT in that time. And they'll be glad you got ice cold water ready. Also, "good job" is relative; like, theres definitely gonna be a few wall scuffs and some rough handling. Anything you want super protected, wrap that yourself.
