Fun update: one of the kids was stupid enough to walk back in front of my house while I was home. Few hours later, house is scrubbed, and I have lost even more respect for cops than I had before

they treated it like a joke mostly, and then when asking about pressing charges, her exact words were “I don’t even know if you can press charges for anything since it’s just eggs”

But the one kid that is the same one from last year showed zero remorse, barely helped the other two clean, and has now been told if he steps onto my property again it’ll be an arrest for trespassing so hopefully this time he gets the message so idk I still feel pretty shitty, and nervous about my house given how uncaring he was

The car was parked out there a bit ago when I took the dogs out but I didn’t pay any mind, I looked out the window again and it was still there and I could very clearly see them going at it.

I walked out to the fence and yelled to get the guy’s attention and said “what are you doing?” And the guy stumbled over his words and said something like “uhhh just helping my friend” and I said “alright you guys need to get out of here, because you’re doing something indecent” and he was all “yes sir wont happen again”

 

im all for getting off but come on. It’s broad daylight. What if kids lived here? Kids do live across the street/down the street from me
