To add to the stress of everything, the same kids who threw rocks at our house last year egged our house last night now. I’m just so defeated. I just want to move but know it’s not feasible right at this very moment. I don’t know. Just love to feel like shit in my own home

Do you have proof to take to their parents? Unlikely their parents will do anything but you never know.

 

Yeah I have it on camera. Don’t know their parents or where they live and unfortunately had to be a narc and send it to the police because I’m just done. But from the sounds of what other neighbors have said it’s been a recurring issue and the parents have never done anything.

 

Yeah that sucks. If kids are comfortable enough to go and egg houses then you know they’ve never faced consequences at home.

@Joe4th shit sucks man, sorry you have to go through that. we currently have neighbor kids that are annoying (obviously not to the extent of your situation) but they come ring our doorbell and run back home (they live two houses down) they have taken packages off of our porch (never actually stolen one, but they come grab it, and like throw it by our bushes on the side of the house) and once we caught them on the ring camera trying to go on the side of the house past our gate, my wife got on the ring intercom and yelled at them and they yeeted back down the sidewalk lol.

we finally went down to the house to try and talk to an adult but when we stopped it was just a grandma who didn't speak English and no lie probably 6 or so kids in a house same/or maybe smaller than ours. all the kids came outside and we kinda confronted them and honestly haven't had any problems since, but who knows how long that will last lol.
