Talking about sleeping, I sleep like a fucking rock. I slept through a fire alarm going off before and my dad accidentally shooting the TV lmao.

I also literally won’t remember anything anybody says to me when I’m still awake and about to fall asleep.

 

Why did your dad do that

 

When I’m out I’m out, sleep is almost too easy for me

It’s way harder when I try to live on a routine. One of the things I like best about working in a restaurant is I go to bed whenever the fuck I get tired and sleep as late as I feel like sleeping. Sucks giving up my evenings sometimes but that’s a very nice tradeoff

 

I’ve read this three times and still don’t understand those words in that order lol

 

I used to be really good at falling back asleep. But now if I’m up for more than like, 10 mins I’m just done and gonna go play madden or something

 

He was dumb and forgot to turn the safety off his hand gun when putting a laser sight on it. My dad hunts but he also is one of those that feels the need to carry.

Also he never said that it was a factor but that was probably around the time he started becoming an alcoholic so it probably was a contributor. Not trying to be a bummer about this lol, the incident was years ago maybe my last year in high school or first year in college. He’s doing better and has been sober for over a year and half.

 

No one here is a better sleeper than @CarpetElf was in his early to mid 20s

he certainly has more trouble sleeping now but I have seen that mf fall asleep mid conversation. I have seen that dude get in a car and be asleep before it was shifted out of park. I’ve seen that dude fall asleep WHILE IM PLAYING DRUMS in the same house. I’ve seen that dude get sick and literally stay asleep for almost 24 hours straight

 

Yeah these sound like medical issues

 

They probably were but getting medicated for anxiety and depression helped him a lot

To emphasize the sleeping part. I feel asleep watching tv in my room at like 6:30-7 and I had not been asleep very long and it still didn’t wake me up lol

lol I live in Florida and my dad’s family is from Georgia but they’re not redneck. It was really just a dumbass mistake.

See but a “not redneck” Georgian by comparison to other Georgians still probably very much is a redneck to someone from up north lol

Even my black ass has a little bit of redneck in me from growing up in north Florida even after I’ve rejected the south for the superior mid Atlantic
