Ethan’s stuff with Dan Lambert was arguably one of the worst things AEW has tried. Like I get that he thought he was underutilized, but he also got some opportunities a lot of guys would kill for and didn’t stand out. Cool for him getting a shot in NXT, but I’d think it would be smart to be more neutral towards your former employers given WWE’s track record of letting go of people or sticking them in low mid card purgatory. Let’s not forget he also trashed Impact and GCW when he stopped working with them. MLW may be his only place to go if WWE dumps him lol

 

tbf Ethan was the standout of that (very bad) group and they still chose scorpio sky over him, which is insane

but I do agree its not the smartest for him to be insulting aew considering wwe's tendencies even if what he's saying has been said a million times by now

 

I mean both things are probably true. It’s always sounded like inmates running the asylum at AEW and he’s probably not wise to talk about them.

But also it’s wrestling. How many times have people shit talked and then came back. If he gets over or more popular there’s no way Tony says no to bringing him back
