I feel this. Earlier this year, I had to wait 5 months to get in for an upper endoscopy and then three days before the procedure, they called me to let me know that my insurance decided that it was not "medically necessary" and I'd be asked to put down a $2,500 deposit the morning of.

I'm not aware that any of the independents that won in those seats are at least openly bad in other areas. I think there was a phenomenon of some of them not talking as much about LGBTQ+ stuff due to real or perceived social conservatism in the muslim communities that are their base, but I don't think a single one of them is on the level of Galloway from the "Workers Party" who was just openly transphobic and lost his seat months after winning it. He's got nothing

Sam already mentioned some of the pro-palestine people in his city being very bad in other areas. And to me, that highlights how failure to embrace a pro-palestine platform will result in some people turning to another group that does embrace a pro-palestine platform, even if that group also embraces social conservatism as well.
