The biggest symbol of Biden’s impending drop out is that the Biden Barn on Route 1 in Delaware has sustained damage and is deteriorating. My wife just drove by and texted “the Biden barn is falling apart just like old Joe.”

The gods have spoken and the Mandate of Heaven no longer lies with Joe.

definitely fear that there are a number of dems in positions of power that legitimately prefer Trump being in office so they can fundraise better

  5. I think, again, cynical as fuck, that the news orgs do too. It is better business for all of them! There's massive incentive there.

Back in the day before polarization really took over, it would be a good move because hey you can make a play for Kentucky or Tennessee (Al gore) or etc. But these days is prob doesn’t buy you much. Maybe it helps you with midwestern blue collar workers? But Ohio and Iowa are so MAGAd up idk if it matters

    edit: re: Bashear

I think there’s a good chance Biden stays in still, but there’s also a really good chance that he drops dead any minute. So you know, multiple end game options.

the pressure seems to be mounting today for him to drop out

anyone actively defending Biden right now and saying he should stay in is equivalent to those two bearded right wing guys in hawk tuah shirts, just on the opposite side of the spectrum

So question for everyone in here, do you think we will go into a full on dictatorship when Donald wins in November?

oh absolutely. ownership for sure. People like Tapper or Maddow also gain a lot from people being mad at Trump and are better off with him in office

I think what all of them miss is how little hope of a better future so many Americans have. I don't think the next Trump presidency is going to be like 2016. People are so burnt out by everything they aren't going to be motivated to fight back like they were in 2018.

if he wins I think it’s more like SCOTUS and him strip rights away from folks, do insane shit, media has a field day, dems fund raise for the midterms, etc etc etc.

And lots of people continue to suffer while others tune it out. I don’t think I see a scenario where he wins and is immediately like “I’m never leaving” lol. I think that attempt probably comes in 2028 via all the election certification stuff or other fuckery

It’s funny how the presidential polling for dems is bad but the senate polling has been pretty good. Almost like the candidate at the top of the ballot is an issue…

this is a big reason why it is so infuriating that people keep saying calling on Biden to step aside is an overreaction

this is what we're up against
