This was my thinking; with Naito taking it from Mox here (presumably), its time for them to find someone new. And he's the only dude left basically. And then the year after that they can push Shota, etc.

 

Joe, Hook, & Shibata is the trio team I didn’t know that I needed. I hope they win. I also hope I see Joe vs Cobb like 10 more times.

You are not wrong. I truly hated that group. Going from the highs of The Inner Circle to that. Nope!

 

Yeah. I really want someone new and different to hold the belt. Mox is really cool, but I assumed it wasn’t going to be for long, and that he also wouldn’t have too many matches for NJPW.

I haven’t been into NJPW for ~4 years now, but the younger and newer guys are beginning to become real threats, and that’s finally interesting me.

 

THAT was a good finish.
