I think no matter what Harris would stay on the ticket, whether that be as the nominee or VP. She'd already be pissed if they gave the nomination to someone else, imagine how pissed she would be if they threw her off the ticket completely lol

That's why *if* it happens (and I still doubt it does), I think he names Harris immediately, so there is no hesitation, or months of chaos trying to find a candidate. It's much cleaner for him to signal to the delegates that she is the one.

Man thank god I live in a solid red state that the dems aren't going to attempt to be competitive in this year, and my vote doesn't actually matter. I'd be driving myself insane this year if my vote made a difference and this is what we are being given.

As much as I get why it'd make sense, I absolutely agree that Harris isn't the best pick. The big thing that Biden was right about as a campaigner is that the 'from a small state, knows how to talk to working-class Americans' aspect to him absolutely helped him get elected. You wanna hold on to the mid-west, working class blue regions? Whitmer seems like a slam dunk.

I do not like Kamala Harris but at this point in time I think she is a better choice than Joe Biden

Also looking at the candidates in my congressional district's (FL-13) Dem primary. Pretty easy pick for me, I'm choosing the millennial former comms director for our county's public transit authority, who is actually from here, and is running on public transit and affordable housing.

I hate when people run for Congress in a District they've only lived in for like a year. That happens a lot in Florida. Anna Paulina Luna is one of them. It's like you ain't us dawg. Carpet baggers get fucked.
