I sold my 2015 MacBook Air to get an iPad Pro with the keyboard and pencil. Works super well for school. I don't know what you'll be doing on it, but I like it a lot!

Looks like Apple has dropped the prices on their USB-C adapters and LG displays.

 

Any suggestions for a MacBook Pro that doesn't power on? Early 2015 model. Was using it before lunch almost at full charge, put it to sleep during lunch, and when I get back it's not powering on. Left it plugged in for about an hour just in case the battery drained somehow, and that isn't working. Holding the power for 10 seconds, nor resetting the SMC doesn't do the trick either.

 

Something else that really bugs me about Apple Music, is the fact that it doesn't show the track lengths unless you actually click to play the track.

 

Well, I tried the new keyboard, and I hate it just as much as I thought I would. I don't work from home anymore and work provides a machine for me so I think I'm gonna downgrade to last years 13 inch MBP and get a mac mini for home use and just have the laptop travel and stuff. This sucks.

 

Damn $325 off that 5k display is pretty amazing, I still have no use/desire for one but if you're in the market for it thats a pretty sweet discount

I don't know how long this has been available, but last night I was watching some live mewithoutYou videos on youtube on my macbook pro and I noticed that it had an option for me to play on my Panasonic viera. I thought airplay only worked for apple tv so my mind was blown.

 

it's a YouTube feature, rather than an Apple one.

Not sure if this is the place for this, but I'm getting a little desperate. Haven't been able to sync my phone to iTunes for a while, and am thinking it has to do with my iTunes version on my PC. I have hardly anything on my phone, but have less than 1GB left, and I'm sure it has to do with not being able to sync. I have Windows Vista 32-bit, tried redownloading iTunes on my PC etc, but nothing is working...any ideas?

 

My girlfriend's dad has been having the same problem (not with phone space, but with connecting to iTunes on Windows). He spent almost a whole day on the phone with Apple trying to figure it out to no avail. Unfortunately I don't really have any advice, but it's not a totally isolated problem.

 

It's really odd and not all the time, but once my phone starts filling up with video is when it happens. Would love for Apple support to have someone get to the root cause, but they only try to fit my issue in a box that they've experienced before...not happy with their customer service as of late.

 

I haven't been able to sync since I updated to iOs 10, but I'm on an old (2006/7?) Mac Pro running OsX 7.5

 

I've got a mbp in august 2015 and in september the sound started popping and scratching at high pitches and that kind of behavior. I spent hours at the genius bar until they figured out it was isolated to the user profile so they had me wipe the hard drive to clear it up. I redownloaded everything and set it back up exactly how I had it prior and the sound worked perfectly beyond that.

I had to upgrade to the 15in screen in October and It just happened again. I made a second profile and it's doesn't happen on that one. Only the main/admin profile (the only profile on the mbp before this)

It's a frustratingly petty problem. Am I alone in this or has anyone else experienced it?

 

I've had my Mac on the public beta of Sierra for a while now, but I recently decided to unenroll my Mac. I've change the setting in App Store System Preferences and logged in to unenroll and I'm still seeing the public beta updates. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

 

I had the same problem within my phone/computer. I think iTunes is only being updated to 64-bit versions at this point, and if you have a new version of iOS downloaded onto your phone, it won't connect to the old iTunes version any longer. Not sure how valid my theory is, but I think that's the issue.

 

Anyone ever have an issue that every time you sync your phone to your Mac iTunes says there is a new version of iOS but on the phone it says it's up to date?

 

Apple re-released 10.1.1 for some reason and it's only available through iTunes update, not OTA.

 

So is there any reason I need to download it or is it basically a glitch?

 

No reason to download really. No one has found any changes in the rerelease besides a different build number
