I think he was trying to say statistically people are much more likely to be abused by their family members than by immigrants, which is true, but doesn't really have anything to do with the question about Roe V. Wade.

 

I think his point was that currently victims in general have no way of getting abortion in some states right now due to the supreme court decision but he said it in a fucked up way

 

I think Biden is just an evil man incapable of imagining abortion as a positive thing without associating it with rape in a very racist way.

are you guys tracking that capitalism works best when slavery is legal? we have this weird bastardization of it in its current form which relies on the visibility of human suffering, i.e. homelessness, as a deterrent to labor mobility and autonomy

what I'm gathering from this decision is that our rulers are starting to lose control over this dynamic. people are starting to question the need for the public execution displays instead of keeping their head down and not stepping out of line. so now we have to go through this convoluted process, indicative of a former power desperate to maintain the appearance of ideological stability in the face of dwindling options, to reconfigure the concept of incarceration within a "liberal democratic" system to accomplish the same end goal that slavery and imperialism used to provide. if it wasn't for a conveniently right-leaning SCOTUS, it would've eventually happened via another accessible method

in summary, you have no choice. if you're breathing, you serve the machine. for the last fifty years, we reached a pinnacle in our ability to convince people do that without literal coercion because we had the resources of a planet beneath our heel and an intentionally disconnected populace. no longer
