Honestly, this new one is probably a good place start. Great beats and he's flowing over them pretty smoothly. After that, i'd recommend either of these...

The Lil Yachty and James Blake collaboration is something I didn't know I needed but man I am all in for it now. The production on this is lustrous. Highly suggest going to listen to that. Not sure if I would fully classify it as hip-hop but it's great.

Someone on Reddit described it as this and I am like yeah this tracks.

"It’s like a mix between ambient, Sampha-esque alt-R&B, and 2020’s cloud rap. The synth work is out of this world."

New Lupe is really good stuff. Excited to return to it.

Enjoyed most of MEGAN but not all. She is at her best when she’s rapping about real shit and when she’s on her Juicy J flow. Moody Girl might be the best one on there.

I like gospel rap, but this feels a little forced somehow? Thought this was a much better “comeback” song

I love how interesting of an artist Lil Yachty has become. I always liked his music tbh but lately it feels like I never know what to expect from him in the best possible way

Just finished the Lupe album. It definitely feels more like his in-between mixtapes/EPs that he drops between major albums but I still love it, just 30 minutes of him proving he's one of the best rappers in the world over some amazing jazzy beats. Can't say I fully got the Amy Winehouse connection to any of the songs lol but he also writes so abstractly that it could all just be going over my head

Still will die on the hill that he is one of the all time GOATs

I listened to it once and it was surprising but it had no staying power. And really did not get a sense of his identity at all in the music, a similar criticism I have of Travis Scott actually.

I just can’t get into almost like anything Yachty and if I do like it, it’s because of the features
