I am very excited to see MJ tomorrow but I am having three cavities filled in the morning so I will hopefully be feeling okay by then lol

I’m wearing a black t-shirt of local band Prathloons. But also I’m at home and not at Sleeping Village.

 

It’s insane how much people love him now and how much he has blown up. Up until the end of 2022 (and prior) people were not giving that much attention to him (unfortunately) so it’s really cool people are paying attention now!

 

Most crowded I’ve ever seen this place. Good shit. Couldn’t move from center of floor once show started.

 

Sorry guys. I was with a buddy and we drove from Indy. Never checked back on the thread. Hope everyone had a great time. We were posted up right on the balcony railing the whole show. Incredible view and incredible show. Hangover Game right into Knockin was wild.

Xandy is the best tambourine player of all time.

saw him a few years ago in a room with maybe 125 ppl in it--sounds like that's not happening again haha. dude's ceiling is as high as anyone with big fuzzy guitars in 2024

 

Also I’ve never heard unmic’d percussion cut through the sound like it did last night. First show at Sleeping Village and I thought the sound was remarkable. Tambourine was clear as day.

 

I definitely saw you then if you were on the left side, I was standing on the stairs the whole time but I could see people watching from the balcony railing.

Yep! My buddy was taller, hat and mustache. I had a plain gray T and shorts on.

 

Also yeah that was definitely the most crowded I’ve seen Sleeping Village too, felt like they oversold tickets but still a fun time. It’s kinda crazy though…MJ is getting close to just as popular solo as Wednesday is which is wild to think about.

 

Happy for them. A tough life being on the road so much but having two successful acts between the majority of the members of Wednesdays seems pretty good!

 

I was cashed after spending the day in the sun at the ball game but I made it for the whole show. It was such a blast. Did not dig the contigent of indieheads in the middle of the floor not dancing along, was happy to be with a fun group on the floor in the back right.

Easily the most packed I've seen SV in some time, felt a bit oversold but it's also someplace I've never felt unsafe because there are so many exits out of the place.

 

I was in the center floor, just on the bottom right of the pic above, and also trying to get people to boogie. oh well. Their loss!
