i'll be honest im not really familiar with dijak's game like that, but very shocked to see they didn't renew him. his tweets are literally always on my timeline and felt like whenever i put on nxt in the last year he was a main focus. NJPW could use someone built like him rn

He's a missed opportunity; they hired him in NXT and had him feuding around the North American title with Keith Lee, brought him to Raw in that awful Retribution gimmick that went on WAY too long, sent him back to NXT and built him up as a monster again, then drafted him to Raw so he could lose to Woods on Twitter.

Good for him, he got way longer of a WWE contract than I expected but spent his entire 30s there to not really do anything. Would love to see him in NJPW, his style is perfect for them.

 

I hope he does get some big moments in AEW if he goes there but I also have this feeling they may just toss him into ROH

I thought Dijak had more to give in NXT. His promos fit the show’s format better than most & he’s a perfect feud for someone you’re trying get over or short-term champ. The call-up made no sense to me at the time.

 

He would have been a great opponent for Trick in this transition period they’re going through

A reminder that Dijak did have a rare indie 5 star match with Keith Lee at a PWG show years back. He's definitely capable of throwing down at places like AEW and NJPW.

 

I don’t think people could take Dijak seriously after Retribution even though he put on killer matches

 

I'm stoked they found a way to get Yota Tsuji on the card. He's the future.

 

NJPW would be great for him in that Lance Archer role. Just a guy regularly in the shuffle for the midcard belts and the G1.

He'd get very lost in the shuffle in AEW when they've already got Cage and Big Bill working their low-mid card as big dudes.

 

Tony could sign him and have a tall guy division.

Dijak’s also one of the few guys whose real name sounds more like a WWE name.

 

I always forget that Brodie was a big Leafs mark. Super cool to see.
