We’re almost an hour in and neither candidate has said how they’re going to help people. We don’t even get the pandering lies anymore!

 

I think you’re willfully ignoring the major policy initiatives Biden passed that had tons of left wing policy in them, bureaucratic choices that leaned more left than center (some of which were blocked by courts), and even some of the left wing policies under Obama (Ie Medicaid expansion), because you’re mad at Biden for other stuff/not fighting harder on courts/etc.

 

federal politics has never actually been about helping people but it seems the facade has been lifted. it’s just sports for people with political science degrees now.

 

The lack of policy debate anymore is wild and so far removed from what all these debates and arguments were like pre-2016. Dem 2020 primary was the last gasp
