  2. It's not even funny how much better this is than that new "Anberlin" song. Matty is totally in his element here but is such a weird misfit for Anberlin. I'm also extra bitter because I had the realization a few days ago that Jeff from Number One Gun would've been the perfect fill-in for Stephen ... a guy can dream!

I miss Jeff and number one gun. Unreal band and vocalist!

I'm going to admit something really embarrassing. This post is what's caused me to realize that Matty Mullins, NOT Matty Arsenault, is the new Anberlin singer. This is a low point for me, lmao.

Not the biggest fan of the new Anberlin, but this is just terrible, as anything from MMF.

Didn’t Number One Gun do some real shady shit? Some go fund me or patreon where they took a bunch of money from fans and didn’t follow through or deliver what they said they were going to deliver and then just disappeared?

That sounds accurate to me, sadly.

    On a brighter note:

    (Pun intended.)

This is decent. Typical fare for them these days. Tight / compressed guitar and vocals (over produced to hell), but ultimately catchy and gets my head nodding. I know a lot of people shit on the lack of creativity in the scene and how it's all gone octane core, but sometimes that works and scratches a certain itch for me.

EDIT: Also it is kind of cool on spotify how the song starts again with the stuck on repeat / vicious cycle lyrics. Flows well and is a nice touch.
