Raiders: 6-2 first place in the AFC West

Browns: 0-8 last place/worst record in the entire NFL.

No it's not fucking true...the only thing that's true is, we don't give up that many yards and we might be undefeated.

Just like last week when Oakland set the penalty record...WHO CARES?! They won the game and at the end of the day that is all that matters.

 

defense wins championships.. just because your team is doing well doesn't mean it shouldn't get better.

 

Raiders have been impressive, especially on the road. But I wouldn't be thrilled with the shit teams they have beaten at this point. The best teams they have played are the Falcons and Chiefs, and they lost both those games. Chargers are decent and I think they blew that game. Going to need to play well against the Broncos.

 

yeah i dont care about if they are ranked last or first as long as they are winning. But i can agree that we do need to get better and start fixing some of the bleeding on defense. We could easily be 3-5 if Derek wasnt such a badass. Just saying id like to see the defense we built do better.

 

Our team is getting better.

Football isn't like basketball where 1 player can change an entire team. The Raiders defense is improving and we'll see just how much Sunday night.

 

Football is football, anytime you beat anyone who is a NFL team it is a legit win. i dont agree with the point "they have beaten shit teams". The browns are the only team id think is a "shit team".

Chargers have one of the best offenses in the league and have won more quarters than they have lost, they just lose at the end. The AFC west is the best division in football IMO. All teams who are in teh AFC WEST are legit and have legit quarterbacks (not the broncos of course).

 

tom brady beats up on the browns and everyone all over his balls, they a shit team. So why is he in the MVP discussion.

 

That's why there's an offense and a defense. One picks up the other. The biggest thing with our defense is consistency. Some drives they're there, and others they're not. It's a work in progress, and it's getting there.

i remember the shit raider teams beating the champion steelers, a game they werent even supposed to sniff a win at. Any team can beat any team if its their day

 

i fully agree. We are a complete team and the boys have banded together. Ill never talk shit on the raiders. I hate those people in the forums that slander them and freak out about everything. Im just happy we got our core dudes on both sides of the ball and they are learning how to win.

 

I think we can all agree that the Jets are the best in the AFC

i guess we will have to see how people from oakland feel when and if they actually move.. baltimore hated when the colts moved.. and hated the team. im sure what ever Montreal expos fans they may be around hate the nationals

The Raiders defense is ass. That's just the truth.

The offense is damn good though, which is obviously why their record is where it is, but denying the d is anything less than dogshit, is just being a homer and a dumbass.

I also hate the dumb notion that "defense wins championships" well...no, it really doesn't. No more so than having a good offense.

Hey I wasn't denying the fact that the defense was bad. Swan just posted the Oakland to Cleveland defensive comparison and I had to remind him that he's comparing a first place team to a last place team. The Raiders defense is bad, but with the exception of the Falcons game they somehow always seem to make a play or get a stop when we need it most.

 

I don't really know the specifics, because I want to enjoy the possible last few games I get to go to, but I don't think it's ownership that is saying "Oakland sucks, we want to move." They just want a new stadium. I'm pretty sure it's the mayor of Oakland. That's why the Warriors are moving and why the A's are looking for places to move. The leadership in Oakland doesn't care about the sports teams. Don't hold that as "super fact", that's what I think I've heard a few times.

 

Hey guys my friends and I are starting up a league of our own, and I've decided to put my energy into that league instead. I had fun playing with you guys, it will just be easier to knock games out with them since I see them all the time. Hopefully whoever takes over my team is better than me at Madden haha

 

Why don't you just invite them to this league?
