if you aren't running the whole game and DLC at RL1 with a base level shield and whip with no flasks, armor, summons, magic, or weapon arts then are you a real gamer? I think not.

Shadow of the Erdtree made me say something I've never said while playing Elden Ring which is "oh thank god, it's just the bird enemy"

 

That death bird in the OG game made me rage quit so many times

 

My arch enemies were the Ball Busting Whatevers, although the Deathbirds were also frustrating. The variant more than the original.

 

Those were mine too, the Caelid one still gets me

 

I'm on the last boss now and I understand the complaints, maybe I'll figure it out and have fun with it but it's pretty lame both thematically and in the moveset

The deadliest weapon in Shadow of the Erdtree is a bottle of perfume that can evaporate the DLC's final boss in 13 seconds, thanks to hitbox buffoonery

i think ive got both endurance and mind right around 30, im level 148 and havent started the DLC yet

For the DLC I went through using dual duelist (lol) axes and then switched to dual great katanas around the time I did the Shadow Keep

You should try out those circular dual blade things @Signifire those look really fun and I feel like they can pair well with a nice shield as well
