If this album were a person I would slide into its DMs faster than you can say "honey you are free"

Agreed. Thinking is a bad song and rockstar is a really questionable choice for a single. the best songs on there are among the bands best tho

    Regular

I really like Static Prevails and adore Claire and Call It in the Air. I was so happy when they busted out Claire for some dates of the Futures x 10 tour. I wouldn't put Static above any album after it, but I'll still gladly listen to it. Can't say the same for the 1994 album unfortunately.

Not liking "My Enemy." Glad they kept it off the album.

i like it but it's distinctly less good than anything on the record and wouldn't fit anywhere

i mean i guess obv it would sit ok in the hard rock center of the record with the end of "pass the baby" and "get right" but i like that that sound is restricted to those two songs

finally, they left a "nothingwrong" off one of their records

Oh I think it's great. I'm fine with it being left off, but I'm just glad we have it.

I really like My Enemy. Interesting it's part of the 30 Days, 30 Songs anti-Trump campaign. I need the lyrics.

I may have said this before, but I would love for JEW to make a politically-driven album. I feel like they could do it really well.

    all we have is time

"Not in my name, you don't speak for me
I am my voice, and I want to scream
You want my air, you want my life
I act as one, but I'm not alone."

    That bridge tho..

    Sure & Certain

"You feel the tide is rising
    That water’s cold as hell
    Think enemies surround you
    Everyone, except yourself

    Your condition
    Fake direction is no protection"

This is a perfect anti-Trump song.

Trump supporters aren't smart enough to understand the lyrics, I'd bet.

Was "Bleed American" the first great anti bush rock song?
