One of the biggest issues I see with England is they fail to really pin teams back. Lots of possession but never really sustained pressure. Very similar to United against low block teams.

 

Gordon must surely get minutes at some point. Has Gallagher touched the ball yet? Drop Bellingham back, Foden to the centre, Gordon on. Maybe even Palmer for Saka too.

 

Slovena, you're giving England too much respect here.

Individually, Trippier and Foden are fine. The issue is they both keep wanting to cut inside, so it’s very predictable
