  6. I was at Disneyland so I didn't watch it until now but yo that Nosferatu trailer is lit, or cooking, or whatever it is the kids say nowadays

  7. How was Bikeriders? It looks kinda generic/boring

I really liked it! Had no real care going into it (my friend wanted to see it a lot more than I did), but liked it a lot more than I expected to. It was my first Jeff Nichols movie but apparently he has a pretty devoted fanbase.

I’m not endorsing not going to the theaters if you have the means, but The Bikeriders is hitting digital on 7/9, for anyone that doesn’t. I have to be really selective on what I go see, so figured I’d share that for anyone else that wants to see it.

My thoughts exactly. Also feel like this is the most interesting character Hugh Grant has played in awhile.

I don’t think anyone really needed convincing after seeing “A24 horror movie with Hugh Grant” anyway, but damn what a great trailer.

Between this, Nosferatu yday and the Longlegs stuff, we've been eating w/these trailers lately

    Heretic looks great!

  14. Lol that trailer is bonkers. I'm in. Although that needle-drop was better used in the Saw X trailer

  15. Took last Thursday and Friday off, so my weekend wound up being Malignant, Suitable Flesh, Man Bites Dog, and Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood. The former two worked for me less so on second watch, but Malignant is still good. Man Bites Dog was super funny and fucked up. I like The New Blood more each time I watch it.

Damn I’m high and just realized that’s this Friday. I was thinking the 28th was next week for some reason. :crylaugh:

Do they ever shadow drop? If not, it seems like August is probably the earliest it’ll hit Shudder.

    So in for Heretic

  22. No that I know of? That's a great question, though. With all the attention it's gotten (not unlike Late Night With the Devil), I'd assume they'd want to promote the hell out of it before it hits their platform.

  23. yeah I vaguely remember really liking Midnight Special and Take Shelter. Maybe Bikeriders doesn't appeal to me only because I watched all of Sons of Anarchy and got kinda sick of it towards the end

I will say that I expected this to be a lot like SOA or any other typical rough n tumble motorcycle club story but it's not that at all. It's got some depth to it and it's a pretty cool story.

Even though I was a JW and not Mormon, close enough, love that Heretic premise and trailer.
