    It's all hell.

It's Chris Sutton on 5live which is another horrendous offering.

Calafiori is the first Liverpool transfer link this summer that is genuinely intriguing for me. I’d love to see it as we need CB depth with Matip leaving, Konate can’t be relied upon for many games in a row, and a slight sophomore season regression should be anticipated for Quansah despite how great he was this year

and rather have someone / anyone else fill in for Robertson over Tsimikas. Great for team vibes, generally an uninspiring player Tsimikas

who knows how real the links are, wouldn’t be crazy if he wanted to stay in Italy and if one of the top Italian clubs were in for him

watching him this Euros, I love the aggression in stepping up, can clearly pick a pass and is comfortable on the ball, and has flexibility on the left side of a back line

He’s done every match on 5live i think ha. Annoyingly, if you go on the BBC updates page and click watch you get the 5live commentary which I only realised was different than using iPlayer two games in lol.

That's what I'm doing at the moment haha. I got very confused why the comms were trying to fill up every single second of air.

Games like Croatia vs Italy make me so happy. I really don't care who wins but what drama / what entertainment. Couldn't script the last 5 minutes any better.

Raya's been incredible on two huge Albania chances.

My first international football memory is the heartbreak of being 5 and watching Beckham kick Simeone and then England go out to Argentina in 98 lol.

    The more things change…

My first international football memory is Brandi Chastain in 99.

Otherwise, World Cup 2010. Typical American.

Edit: Wait, Confed Cup 2009. That upset of Spain was when I got "hooked" for good.

Euro 96. I was 9 and my dad was away on business so I watched with my Mum who rarely cares about the football but got swept up with England hosting. We both cried when they lost on penalties ha. I'll never forget how close Gascoigne was to getting on the end of that low cross.

Before that, the Netherlands game. That 4-1 win is up there with the 5-1 against Germany in qualifying for the best England results I've experienced.
