I’m glad you had a good time @JoshIsMediocre ! Go see the Arch you owe it to yourself. Also, did you consider checking out the local cinema or do you not have time for that? I get that it’s not the AMC rewards but I could see you enjoying classic indie theatres in each city you vacation to

 

Dude we had such a hassle getting to our hotel in KC last night that we just got dinner at a bar type place nearby and stayed in the hotel lol it was annoying as hell

Yeah that's the worst after a long ass drive and you just wanna relax. I had the same shit when I rented a car in Jax after my flight (took forever, they hold $500 out of your account now instead of $200 which i DID NOT KNOW)

and tried to park at the Omni hotel, the same week there's a big dumb stupid event that stupid Jacksonville doesn't have anywhere CLOSE to the kind of infrastructure to handle

The rest of the trip was great though saw a Jags game, went to like 7-8 of my favorite places in town including the beach, etc but that first day was totally ruined (my buddy Derek bailed on going to the game too it was a total bummer)

 

Ok we’re not going up in the arch, it’s apparently sold out ???

 

OH YEAH I remember the police lane was directing all traffic to sit in a not moving line (I sat there 30 minuets and budged maybe one car length) and every single person who wasn't there for the event across the street had to learn from some fuckin cop that the Omni hotel doesn't actually own it's parking lot and their choice is to pay like $60 a day or find street parking.

I found street parking far as hell away, had to park it in the lot overnight anyway, and then spent the whole second day driving around places cause I didn't want to deal with it anymore lol

 

This was in January when me and @CarpetElf watched the Jaguars get crushed by Baltimore

It was crazy how much I love both teams and how much I hated that game. Wasn't even an exciting game it was just... Baltimore stepping on our throat and not allowing us to do anything offensively and then running the ball lol

 

I hope things improve, however that may need to happen. Anxiety sucks.
