    hey, nothing - Maine EP.

Found this group a month or two ago when they released the single for Maine, and I'm addicted. Their LP from last year is also great. I know there's gotta be a decent crowd here that will enjoy them as much as I do. If you want to feel like you're back in high school checking out the latest news on absolutepunk.net, check them out.

They’ve been calling it an album all along, and I don’t know what the actual definition is, but it’s an EP to me lol

I think the definition of EP has shifted now that Spotify and other platforms have categorized EPs with singles and not with albums, making it a lot harder to see. Not sure if there's any other metrics that make EPs less visible than albums. Manchester did it last year with The Valley of Vision and I remember a lot of people being confused then. Trent Reznor did it with the Nine Inch Nails release Bad Witch a few years ago after releasing two other projects as EPs in the year prior. So blame Spotify again, I guess.

Definitely blaming Spotify for how they organize and/or categorize. Drives me crazy and from what I’ve heard, the artist doesn’t really have much choice how it’s presented.

Yeah, as soon as I heard Maine, I listened to it like ten times in a row, which I never do. Listened to Sink next and then checked out their album from last year, and all of their live sets they've posted. Really been loving them, I hope they have a great career.

They're hitting Chicago for their first tour which is a bit out of my range but I hope they make it to Minneapolis soon.

Dude! “NAIL5” & “HAPPY HUNTING” might be the worst songs I’ve heard all year. What the fuck is that!?

edit: I just had to listen to the album again because I absolutely cannot believe that it’s as bad as it is. I’ve listened to it 4 times trying to understand what the fuck this is. I’ve listened to this album more than Foreign Hands, and FH is actually great!!!

The Dangerous Summer never disappoint despite them seeming to be such a dysfunctional unit... AJ clearly has a great vision always of what he wants to achieve with the band and always delivers. New album is great, a little samey here and there but some proper epic vibes on some of these.

Enjoying the new Early November too.
