interesting take here…the lyrical content on Blackout is very far removed from anything Taylor has written. I cannot imagine Taylor ever writing something like Freakshow or Get Naked.

 

So kinda interesting thing, the song on the new Gracie Abrams album that Taylor is featured on is produced by Aaron and Jack, not surprising, but the rest of her album is JUST Aaron. The song itself absolutely sounds like something that would fit on Taylor's album and the back-half/bridge section screams Taylor. I wonder if Taylor actually gave Gracie a song of hers, I think that may be the case

I don’t get involved in the unhinged side of the Swifties usually because it really does make your head want to explode but reading the reaction from Swifties about the Violet thing was…something

Documentary seems... Beneath hbo. Maybe I regard them too highly tho lol. But also I don't believe Taylor has ever moved on from it cause from one petty sis to another she doesn't let go of a grudge. Also interviewing the swifties. They really will interview anyone, huh.

An interesting thing about the Taylor mania is how much money others make off of it. Writers writing articles that are not needed, I see bootleg Taylor friendship braces at the store, local businesses doing Taylor Swift dj nights and Taylor Swift album parties and charging $$ for tickets, the $5 off brand Taylor stickers I see in shops, entire off brand Taylor displays at shops... Would be interesting to read an interview about all the money made off her from those kinds of things.

 

I'm sure HBO has made its own fair share of docs, but ever since the merger with Discovery, Max has been pushing its reality content, like, a lot, and I really don't care for it.
