    I really liked this movie

However I'm sure I missed some lines of dialogue because until the third act I thought he and Hunter Schafer were married

This was pretty good, but pretty firmly below the original 4 for me.

I thought this was alright. Never saw Mockingjay Part 2, but I liked this more than the first and the third movies.

I didn't read the book, so someone feel free to correct me, but was Snow more detestable there? I've heard from some people that losing his internal monologue takes away from the juxtaposition of how charismatic he is outwardly to how toxic he is internally, and I wonder if that's part of why this didn't really click for me

His internal monologue definitely kept him more in the villain category the whole time, yeah.

Viola was fun, music/score was a highlight. Better shot than Hunger Games but not better paced so idk. 3rd favorite? 2nd? Who's to say

I watched the whole series this week and I think this was my favorite of the 4

I had only seen the first two prior

I uhhh didn’t really like this. Rachel Zegler had way too much theater kid energy for me. Davis was doing way too much. Schwartzman was the only really fun part. They also tried to cram way too much into one movie.

  12. Liked this a lot more than I expected. Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler were both great. The story was solid and entertaining. Movies like these are good middle ground between mindless IP-based franchises and original movies. The franchise world is there, but the scenes breathe, the actors act, it doesn't feel like a cash grab. It's a shame Fantastic Beasts couldn't be something like this. A solid, self-contained and entertaining story. I think I also just really like Francis Lawrence's directing.

Peter Dinklage was the only actor that didn't really work for me - felt overly self-serious and solemn.

  15. This was awful and an hour too long. Felt like the longest movie ever.
