On the plus side, a win guarantees we go through and almost certainly as group winners.

 

Feels like Southgate really needs a decent game from Foden today. We all know how loyal he is to his players, and being in a position to make a big decision like dropping the Premier League POTY mid tournament is huge pressure.

But Foden has very rarely played well for England. If he stinks the place out again today, Southgate needs to make a decision. Can be the best player in the world, but if there's no place for him in the system, he shouldn't be starting.
