Quinn got kicked out while taking a break for his mental health which was pretty bad itself - but the implication now is even that was because of Bert.

On a similar note he kicked out Branden Steineckert purely for being sober way back so it doesn't look good at all.

And Justin said he wrote that entire record and then they booted him.

Wow I haven’t really listened to the band in years but all the stuff Burt went through wasn’t aware he was an abuser. Also had no idea they kicked out their original drummer because he was sober?

Official statement according to Wikipedia was "They said they felt they needed to move forward without him, and that there was a personality conflict between Steineckert and another band member."

but Branden spoke up later about it and wanting to quit music because of it:

  8. Really sucks that if you say something about Parker kicking a girl offstage or being in a band with a rapist in the TSSF thread, you're "beating a dead horse"

And that's why you always leave a note.

Ugh. I always wondered about Quinn leaving. He was my favorite part about The Used.

Rich people driving while intoxicated (or anyone, really, but especially people that can afford the top-of-the-line Uber) is always baffling.

  14. think that story is fake because drunk driving is legal on long island

As long as you pray to the patron saint of Long Island car crashes, Billy Joel.

I know that once you hit 30-32 your license doesn’t expire for like 55 years or whatever but kind of shocked if he has a valid drivers license. Seemed like he was kind of at that level of fame and riches that he wouldn’t have to drive himself somewhere unless he wanted to / likes to drive.

but again, just fucking get a ride.

but devil’s advocate if I was rich and famous I’d personally constantly worry that someone would try to rob me, kidnap me, blackmail me so maybe getting a ride from a stranger wouldn’t be the best but again, I’m sure he has someone he can call he trusts to get him a goddamn ride

Yeah but on the flip side of your devil's advocate, if you are famous, you absolutely should have someone else drive you even after a SIP of alcohol because it's not worth it

I'm not surprised rich ppl like to drive because I feel like in the USA at least, driving is a big thing regarding feeling independent kind of across all social classes. Britney spears and other celebs have talked about not being able to drive for a while and missing that freedom. I think it's part of our car culture. But obviously no excuse for DUI espesh with all the alternatives and the $$$ he has
