Disney line wait times are fascinating. Last night I got in line for Peter Pan at a 50 minute wait and it was just over 15. Sometimes other rides will say 10 and take 30.

I went on Indy a few months ago and said it was a 45 minute wait. I think we got on in like 10 or 15?

the wait can also change dramatically if a big influx of lightning lane people come in as the standby lane then just stops to let them all through

It jumped from 20 minutes to 50 minutes very quickly. Any time a ride drops to a lower than usual point the whole herd follows it.

First Mickey Views video in a couple months since he last reported all that crazy MK update news. Couple interesting things

    • He doubled down on his previous reporting from his last video that a clone of Radiator Springs Racers is coming to MK adjacent to Big Thunder. He pointed out an inverted slightly modified model of RSR that can be briefly seen in Imagineering's latest behind the scenes youtube video as evidence of this.
    • He said that now that Tiana's is done, Disney is going to move onto refurbing Big Thunder. He said he is hearing from his sources that WDW's version of Big Thunder will finally get explosion effects like the versions in other parks have. It might be down about a year.
    • Disney lost their merchandising license with Aerosmith so when RnRC reopens in July, all mentions of Aerosmith in the gift shop/post-ride area will be gone.
    • Disney's overall theme park license agreement with Aerosmith expires in a few years, and Imagineering is currently in the process of discussing what IP to replace it with. He's hearing it's down to two candidates, but he'll discuss that in a future video.
    • He is hearing if everything goes well in testing that the updated Country Bears should open earlier than expected. Possibly next month.

Haven't been since the South Park guys bought it, but used to go as a kid to the original all the time and last went about 12 years ago with my now wife and some friends. It was an absolute CO childhood staple and the best and worst place ever

The air conditioning when you walk through Communicore Hall gives you that boost to walk 84 miles from the Seas to Guardians. Though there should be 00’s college pop playing it to maximize its full effect.

Honestly the only purpose this thing can serve is seating during festivals and private events. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. Just seems weird if you are one time tourist thinking you may see a character or experience in there. Far too small to serve food out of during festivals.

All jokes aside my kids loved the Encanto show and I drank a beer while sitting in the weird garden area while the evening band played. Does give some life to the front of the park which before was just cement. I think the renovations created a better looking Future World but not sure it was enough to justify the length of construction.

Still haven’t gotten Everybody Wants to Rule the world on Guardians.

The hike from the ferry to the Tiki Room almost took me, and it was about 7 p.m. or so. I don't know how people do the days.

Visited almost fallen brother Dinosaur today. Made my wife take her first ever ride. “That was horrible”. On our way to file for divorce.

On top of the special HHN, decided to add a day trip to MK and Epcot to do Bayou and Tron.

My job had family day at Knott's on Friday. We took our niece and nephew and they had a blast. I've lived in Southern California my whole life and have only been a handful of times, but I'm starting to like it more and more, way better than Magic Mountain, but still quaint compared to Universal and Disney. Last year they got us the passes that let you eat every 90 minutes with free refills all day which was dope, we got to try pretty much everything we wanted, but this year they cheaped out and we just got one meal ticket.

The walk to Tron was longer than the ride. Was still fun. Wouldn’t lay $20 again though.
