Ehh I looked into that one, and I am sure it's good, but there are too many canonical discrepancies in this that contradict what they later did on the final arc of TCW that I feel like would take me out of it.

 

It’s good, but plot wise is essentially the Tales of the Jedi episode.

 

Another one I keep hearing is one of the better standalone canon novels that i wanna check out is Master & Apprentice.

 

The audio book for master and apprentice is very good

 

Also recommend Lost Stars but that’s best after the OT as far as reading order.

 

Eventually want to get into Alphabet Squadron and Aftermath, but got ways to go.

 

Aftermath is rough. Hated all three books lol

Lost Stars was great from what I remember

 

Lost Stars and Master and Apprentice are both good. I'm halfway through the Alphabet Squadron 2nd book and they're pretty good. I've hit a lull in the 2nd one now and haven't been reading for a while so need to get back into it and finish them

Finished Catalyst. Now onto Tarkin.

Did Rebels 3x20 Twin Suns last night. Beautiful episode.

 

I was going to read the Thrawn trilogy chronologically to Rebels, but now I don't really want to wait to read the next two books to finish Rebels, so I am just going to finish the show, then read the books.

I know Thrawn: Alliances takes place between seasons 3 and 4, and Thrawn: Treason takes place between 4x9 and the series finale. From everything I read though, they were self contained stories that don't have much effect on the larger plot so I think I am good.

Also holding off on reading A New Dawn (prequel to Rebels about how Kanan and Hera met, and founded the Phoenix Cell years before they found Ezra on Lothal) as well. It's the 2nd half of the book collection I am currently reading that includes Tarkin.

 

Lost Stars is such an amazing novel.if you're into Star Wars you should definitely read it.

can anyone add/edit production listings to the FTIA website? because i sincerely doubt they're gonna brand this as X, let alone use that title (also even though this is a repost i'm also skeptical to take this as gospel from fan accounts, especially with this one coming from a Lucas-era purist account)

 

grabbed a couple of these (you can tell which is red or blue based on a production run code next to the expiration date, so we ended up with both)
