Disappointing. The clip ends with the reporter pressing and saying “I understand your focus but does it bother you that folks are weaponizing your name” and before he even finishes the question she says no. Her teammates and other players around the league are getting harassed and out in physically unsafe situations. Ya know who wants to just play basketball? The Black players who are dealing with all this shit that you don’t have the time to even attempt to put an end to

 

I almost want her to have a bad first year so all the bandwagon mra weirdos stop watching and commenting every time she blinks

 

the majority commenting on her aren’t even watching the games. if they did they’d acknowledge she has a ton of holes in her game that needs a lot of work tbh

 

Her game is swiss cheese. She doesn’t even pretend to care about defense. And then gets herself embarassed like on the Stewie screen or trying to rip the ball from Alyssa Thomas’ hands and getting swung around like a rag doll. It’ll die down eventually but she’s not doing herself any favors. Just makes me think of Sabrina’s first few years when it became clear the players didn’t think super highly of her play. It seems pretty clear to me CC isn’t familiar with the W and had no clue what she was walking into
