but come on man you know me and my perspective on the music industry well enough, to know that when I say "successful touring artist" I'm not strictly talking about being The National and making a six figure salary from touring haha.

And it should've been apparent when i said "seat at the table" that no, I'm not directly comparing Jax to NYC, I'm just saying for a way dinkier and more culturally backward city it does pretty well in proportion to its smaller population, particularly in punk/indie music which I did specify. A little nuance on your end could help as well.
