In some ways, maybe it'll be better if Reigns and Cena feud. That way they're only ruining one storyline instead of two.

But doing it that way the Wyatts look even more like a joke (Bray is now a coward for not facing the Rock himself, Rown is a loser who has the record for the shortest mania match)

Ladder match and triple threat were great. The rest of mania was hot trash.

  8. Ryder probably only won the IC so that when Mojo Rowley debuts tonight the Hype Bros will have some clout to them lol

    Jalen Ramsey is the GOAT

I honestly hope that Corbin stays in NXT until about the RAW after Summerslam. I want him to win the NXT title so that Finn can move up to the main roster. Samoa Joe can wait a little while to get his title shot because Corbin wants one and he just won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal so that alone is enough validation.

I could argue that taking Daniel Bryan off the record for quickest loss and having Erick Rowan with any kind of record is an accomplishment. And I don't think taking finishers from some of the greatest wrestlers of all time is considerably damaging the reputations of anyone. Is anyone gonna say you know those league of nation guys were great but not believable now that they got beat up by those weak hall of famers. As heels its part of there jobs to take some knocks that get cheers from the crowd. Now I agree if they have long feuds where the young guys you want to build don't get over (most of wyatts feuds) is poor booking but that's not what happened here. And as far as the rock, he got wwe on the front of a lot of webpages today so pop or not it makes total sense to have him do his thing.

As a viewer I don't really care what puts WWE on the front-pages. I want an entertaining product and The Rock doesn't provide me with that.

Regarding the League Of Nations, being heels doesn't mean they should beat up by old guys. If all of your heels are weak as hell then they aren't threatening and you don't care about the matches. You want to see a heel lose but for that he has to win some things first.

I didn't like the segment and I don't like nostalgia acts, that's the bottom of it.

I agree it doesn't build the Wyatt family, neither does not being in the card at all. But it doesn't damage them as much as people make it out to be. Who has gone over the rock or Cena? It's a memorable moment for the masses and you can overcome the booking with a strong feud for the wyatts (which probably won't happen but that's not what I'm arguing)

there were two really good matches on a seven hour show, one of which saw a champion retain their title in a finish you'd book for raw.

it being inconsequential does matter. your biggest show of the year should be significant in terms of concluding storylines you spent months building towards, as well as creating stars and new storylines going forward. you got none of that. the only feud that got wrapped up last night was lesnar/ambrose and literally nothing we think about the characters now is different than it was six months ago.

what you got last night was a lot of weird booking of lazy finishes, empty nostalgia, and zero storyline payoff. there is no reality in which everyone shouldn't be panning the hell out of last night except in a world where we've come to expect no better.

i didn't say they were good, we were talking about the significance of the results in terms of concluding/springboarding storylines. wrestlemania is supposed to be a culmination. what was it a culmination of? what is new?

    #HEEL

I mean you can hate it all you want but it was pretty obviously the culmination of Roman's beef with the Authority

  15. On the plus side, the pops Owens and Sami got were awesome.

    Totally agreed.

I don't like Roman but at least they followed that story until the end. It was the feud and outcome that made more sense in the whole show.

but why would they just go away? what sense does that make story-wise? they're still in charge and should be as pissed at him as ever.

  18. And I understand the whole feel good story for Ryder but it's a damn joke Owens dropped the title to a jobber.

I really REALLY hope you guys are right about the authority being done, but I just don't see any way that happens. I was hopeful of that going into last night that maybe there would be some huge shake-up involving both the Shane match and the main event, but after the results we got, I don't see what they could do tonight that they wouldn't have done last night. Here's hoping I'm wrong and we're in for an insane Raw.

I'm expecting more of the same but now Cena's back and we have Corbin and maybe Enzo and Cass.

Anyone know if Shane is going to show up tonight? I feel like the answer is no but who knows, he's a trooper.

    Totally agree!

The New Day's entrance was spectacular! It is amazing how quickly the guys set up and tear things down for entrances etc too. They deserve some credit and recognition.

Yeah that is pretty much the way I felt too. I either enjoy it or don't and in general, I enjoyed it.

Well good for them. I know how much that meant to the company.

I know @joe727 said he almost legitimately did, but I fell asleep during the main event last night. Right during Roman's intro, woke up just after midnight.

I will say that we all shat on Fastlane, and they followed it up with one of the best RAWs in a while. Holding out hope for tonight. Last year we got that awesome Dudleyz return.
