It took 11 years for Demon's Souls to get released on a newer platform. By that math, Bloodborne will get re-released in some form in 2 years.

 

I mean it’s on all systems

 

Didnt care for much in the showcase today but I rarely do with Microsoft shows so whatever. Perfect Dark looks very cool though.

Sometimes I get jealous of all the people who are super hyped about the majority of games coming out but then I remember that even with me being fairly picky with games, I still get option paralysis with the amount of games out there a lot of the time.

In a big platformer mood, so I picked this and Kaze up.

 

Player's Log: Meg's Monster

Wow. Hit the (midgame?) plot twist.

We got it twisted. Meg's crying is not ending the world, Meg's crying is the catalyst that is triggering Roy because Roy is actually a fucking walking nuclear reactor that is going critical.

Cue Roy finding out if he explodes he'll take out Meg and everything within an everywhere-mile radius, so he gets on a rocket and shoots himself off into space.

Now I'm Meg, grown-up (which I did actually predict from the opening cutscene), and the adventure is continuing. Her memory of Roy has faded, but there's been a weird red star in the sky ever since Roy left, and she's going to find out why she feels so weird about it.

I'm very pumped to see how this plays out, and I am ready to be emotionally damaged.

Perfect Dark looked sick but I bet that game is still very, very far off. Late 2026-early 2027 type of far off.

 

Y’all, that chainsaw Captain America shield that Doomguy has in the new Doom is just so damn cool.

 

He had like a morning star or ball and chain type weapon too. Game is gonna be great

 

So Doom is just Hexen now, huh.

 

Not sure haven’t seen Hexen in a minute but the third person demon/dragon flying thing. Plus the mech looked new

As someone who was squeaking about Mick Gordon being cut loose, I didn't really have much of an opinion on what we heard in the trailer, positive or negative.

THAT’S WHAT I WAS TRYING TO THINK OF! I was describing the trailer to a friend and I tried to think of the name of that game, it’s basically if you dropped Doomguy in Hexen.

 

Yo that Dragon Age trailer got me hyped up and I don’t ever care for DA (sorry Jake)

I’ve played this story three times and never recruited the templars in inquisition. Figures my run with a mage is the one where I’m gonna give it a shot. I’m not even romancing him this time and the idea of Dorian starting with a super negative impression of me makes me sad. But I think I’m gonna go for Sera or Cassandra this time. I’ve romanced Dorian twice and Josephine once in previous runs

 

Why can’t Blizzard make a movie? Their CGI stuff is crazy good, I’d watch a Diablo/WoW movie from them.
